I was facing what seemed like an impossible situation. My girlfriend had filed a PFA on me, I hadn’t seen my daughter in six nights, and hadn’t been in my home, it seemed like all was totally lost. It was one of the most tumultuous times in my life. The day the order was filed I called my regular... attorney who was busy the day of the hearing, she referred me over to John. At first, I was skeptical. Most folks, in what seems like difficult situations usually are. Well, I called John Simpson, and he spoke with me for over an hour and a half, no charge. It seemed as if all the cards were stacked against me and that all hope was lost. There was a certain amount of me that was just focused on trying to prove what was done wrong to me. John corrected me on this, he reeled me in, and he helped me to feel as if it would be ok. He was right. John Simpson carries about him an unmatched dignity, that cannot be questioned, even by the most aggressive of forces. I myself, am a, “worrier,”...John saw this and calmed me down in a hurry, with six simple words; “The truth is on your side.” It’s very difficult for me to describe to anyone reading this just how tough the situation I faced was. I’m a devout Christian, and simply wished for peace. John understood this, and his approach to the problems were made with such grace and dignity, I couldn’t help but to be confident and humbled. Now, make no mistake, it was with great discussion that John brokered the deal for me and my daughter that he actually did. He was steadfast, communicated clearly, and certainly down to earth. He passed no judgement at any point in time, he kept things on the level. Which, if you’re in a situation like I was, is exactly what you will need. So, in short, without going into descriptive details, Attorney Simpson or John, was able to broker a deal without having to put me or either of my witnesses on the stand. He did this with what I viewed as uncanny negotiating skills. In fact, while I went into this just hoping to see my child again, I left with much more than that, and now my life is back on track. I largely have John Simpson to thank. He’s a great man, in what is a chaotic mess of what seems like lies. I’ll also add that when faced with another question, after the hearing I nearly panicked, but called John and he was kind enough to answer his cell phone, and provide me with sound legal advice. Which I thought was great. John knows his business well. In closing, I could write a novel about this man’s skill.
