Dmitry Lapin

Dmitry Lapin earned his BA in Management of Musical Enterprises from Baruch College (CUNY), graduating cum laude. He then attended New York Law School, where he also graduated cum laude. There, he focused his studies on Intellectual Property, Start-Up and Venture Capital Planning, and Estate Planning, among other areas of law.  

After being admitted to the practice of law, Dmitry served as in-house counsel and Director of Customer Relations for a large energy services company. During this time, he was involved in the day to day operations of the company, as well as in the company's regulatory responsiblities.  In addition, Dmitry served as a consultant to a number of start-up companies, lending his business experience to those who were just starting out and advising them on the best practices for their unique businesses. 

Dmitry decided to enter into private practice so that he may bring his unique perspective to business and estate planning clients, whom he helps with the knowledge gained from personal and professional experiences in estate planning. Further, his involvement within the business world has allowed Dmitry to develop a unique business acumen that wishes to pass on to his clients.  Dmitry strives to achieve the best possible outcomes for his clients in a manner that leaves them stress free and ensures that they have peace of mind that their affairs, both business and personal, are settled to the best of his abilities.

Dmitry is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey. Dmitry is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Young Lawyers Division of the New Jersey State Bar Association. In his free time, Dmitry volunteers within the community as a volunteer attorney with the Wills For Hereoes organization. Dmitry is also an active Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner.
