Biography
I am an attorney in Portland, Maine with a dual-focus practice: a local, general practice and a global consumer product safety practice.
Locally, I counsel, advise and represent individuals and businesses in a variety of legal areas including family law (divorce/separation, custody, child support, PFA and PFH orders), landlord-tenant law (for both landlords and tenants), criminal defense, contract drafting and review, wills and other legal issues that arise.
On the product safety side, as a former Trial Attorney with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, I work with individuals and companies who are developing, manufacturing, distributing and/or selling consumer products. I provide advice and guidance for product development and testing, ensuring that products meet or exceed all applicable safety laws, rules and regulations and represent clients when there are investigations into their products or incidents.
