Biography
Forrest Peterson currently serves as underwriting counsel with Old Republic National Title Insurance Company. He is a graduate of the University of Maine School of Law and has previously worked with several Maine law firms and a title company. As an attorney, Forrest has handled complex commercial and residential transactions, and brings a wealth of experience in working with lenders, developers, homeowners, sellers, and real estate agents to solve complicated title insurance issues and real estate matters.
Forrest is an active member of both the Maine State Bar Association and the local community, serving on several Boards and Committees, including the Real Estate and Title Section of the Maine State Bar Association and as a Board member of the New Lawyers Section of the M.S.B.A., where he organizes the group’s annual Sugarloaf ski trip as well as other CLE and networking events.
