Intelligent and fierce advocate

I utilized the Law office of Shelley Carter for a divorce. Shelley is honest, intelligent, and does her homework providing me with a fierce advocate. She was my backbone when I felt overwhelmed and tired. She gave sound legal advice and protection. I strongly recommend Shelley (and sweet Maggie).

Shelley P. Carter is the attorney you need

Shelley was absolutely phenomenal from the first consultation I had with her. The efforts she went to in order help me with my case have allowed me to have a second chance. Without the counsel she provided me I would have had little to no clue what steps to take in order to fulfill all of my duties. ...Any questions I had she was there to answer swiftly and thoroughly. At my lowest point, she was there for me and helped me get my life back on track. I will forever be grateful to her, and I couldn’t have asked for a better attorney.

Handled my case as quickly as possible and made me feel comforted in the matter.

Shelley represented me with great professionalism, empathy, and respect. As an attorney she is without bias, very intelligent and experienced. She provided me with great communication, promptly and made me feel like my case was her priority. She met with me promptly and allowed me to feel free to ste...p into her office at anytime during the duration of her counsel. Whenever information with the courts was updated she was quick to let me know of any changes and as soon as my case was dropped she informed me within the hour. I would advise anyone needing legal consultation or representation to seek her counsel.

Adoption Case

Shelley helped me through an adoption case and was amazing throughout the whole experience. Shelley's expertise and knowledge made the process run almost effortlessly on my part. She was very honest and compassionate. I highly recommend her for any child case you might have!

She’s the best!

I am so great full to have had Shelley as my divorce attorney. I have nothing but the best to say about her. She’s an excellent attorney, professional, ethical, knowledgeable but also personable. She helped me at one of the most unexpected and difficult times in my life. Shelley is straight forward, ...honest and does not sugar coat anything. She stood by me even when I didn’t make it easy. She’s an awesome attorney, and a great person.

"I have worked on several cases in which Ms. Carter was the opposing counsel. I have always found her to be a very staunch and dedicated advocate for her client. She is always prepared and organized, with a good grasp of the law. She also is very sensitive to her clients' personal situations and their needs during the up and down course of a litigation. While Ms. Carter is very capable in a court room, she is also able to mediate a just and fair solution to an individual case.
