Inept and greedy
We needed a lawyer to review a purchase and sale agreement for a house we were buying. We knew of him and expected to pay $600, although it was a standard document. Because of the simplicity, we (stupidly) didn't agree to a fee. Once finished, he billed us for $1600! He never should have been granted...
