I first met Dom when I was acting as a law clerk at the firm he worked at before, Libby O’Brien in Kennebunk. Dominic is the best lawyer in this area you can ask for. He is not only superbly competent and caring of his clients, he even dedicates himself to the munch needed and lacking work of helping... those who can’t afford legal services obtain legal help. Given, unlike Connecticut where I went to law school who has public defenders paid six figures a year, Maine has a huge problem with trying to entice private practice lawyers with bottom of the barrel compensation and the only state with a legal clinic Pine Tree helping nobody, despite exorbitant legal fees throughout the state. Dominic’s fees are unbelievably affordable for the absolutely incredible competence and reputation he has built, and the quality legal representation he provides. I know this both seeing him work as a former colleague and a current client. He is a rising star who even volunteers as Lawyer of The Day around the state. As an individual who’s also dedicated to pro bono legal help whose recently gotten a new 501c(4) established with over 20 prominent attorneys pledging to be involved in some capacity, Dom included, and 10 million pledged over a ten year plan to replace Pine Tree Legal, I find the most envious part of Dom’s practice to be that despite the highest quality legal services being provided, he still has an hourly rate that may be far below what he could charge given his skills and well deserved reputation, but is what he feels is right to help give the top notch representation he provides be affordable to more people than any other lawyer in York County. I am sure that rate may rise as new legal clinics like mine come out, and as his firm inevitably grows in staff and associates as he’s bound for great things, but Dom will not change in being the highest quality person you can find in character, as his friend, the most dedicated to his clients and superb at handling every area he practices in, as witnessed as a colleague and client, and providing his clients the utmost attention at affordable rates for better representation then you’ll get paying the outrageous rates found in all the surrounding firms aside from one located in Kennebunk, the next lowest rates in the area however an attorney who means well but is overloaded personally and work wise and can’t give the same attention to each client Dominic has always been able to, who is great but unfortunately I have switched all my referrals from her to Dominic. Hiring Dominic Parent will be the best decision any individual in need of representation for his areas of practice you can make. He also ain’t too bad at hockey either!
