Nicholas William Mason

Nick Mason is a member of Shaheen & Gordon’s Business Law practice group, with a focus on transactional matters. He has over a decade of experience advising businesses of all sizes in contract negotiations, conflict resolution, and real estate transactions.

Communication and collaboration are the backbone of Nick’s practice. When a client comes to him with a goal in mind, he helps focus that goal into something achievable and works with them on building a roadmap toward it. His experience in contract analysis and due diligence help him identify and resolve any potential challenges and complexities along the way.

Nick believes that even in contentious transactions, there are outcomes that all parties can be satisfied with, and that it’s his job to find them. He thrives on piecing together the interests, objectives, and personalities involved in a negotiation like a puzzle—where the final picture is an agreeable solution that protects his client and accomplishes their goals.

Nick previously worked in-house at a large real estate investment trust, where he negotiated large-scale deals and trained other attorneys in contract analysis and dispute resolution. Before that, he held positions at private firms specializing in title services.

When he’s not hard at work poring over transaction-related documents, you might find him playing disc golf very poorly or card games very well.
