Denis-Andrei Mesinschi

Born in Bucharest, Romania during the ‘Cold War’, Attorney Mesinschi was fortunate to escape that country’s oppressive regime in his youth to Canada where he grew up among the vibrant multicultural communities of the Greater Toronto Area. 

Mr. Mesinschi’s his legal career began as corporate counsel for high-tech sector and the automotive industry where he was instrumental in planning, developing and implementing transformational programs to help grow or reinvigorate his clients’ businesses turning them into the profitable, functional and highly-successful entities they are today. 

The Mesinschi Law Offices was established on the basis of Mr. Mesinschi’s extensive corporate/commercial experience and aimed at catering not only to large, multinational, corporations but to the small and medium-sized businesses that fuel the North American economy and which embody the innovative and unflappable spirit that defined the North American dream.

An experienced corporate attorney, Mr. Mesinschi has worked as both in-house and outside counsel for a wide array of corporate actors ranging from large multinational corporations to local sole-proprietorships and startups. Mr. Mesinschi works with our corporate clients on corporate matters ranging from formation, restructuring,management consulting, contract drafting & negotiation, debt collections, corporate immigration & off-shore staffing, to cross-border expansion and succession planning.  

Contracts.

Mr. Mesinschi is often called upon by clients and other legal professionals to draft or negotiate complex contracts and operational agreements for a wide array of clients and matters ranging from basic purchase/sale commercial contracts to complex software licensing agreements to  long-term franchise agreements.

In-House Corporate Representation.

Combining his years of experience as corporate-counsel, and private-practice experience representing small and medium-sized businesses, Mr. Mesinschi pioneered our one-of-a-kind “Virtual In-House Counsel” (“VIC”) program for small and medium sized businesses.   VIC is a program that seeks to level the playing field between large companies, who enjoy the significant financial and legal benefits of in-house corporate legal counsel, and small & medium-sized businesses who cannot typically afford ongoing legal support. 

Corporate Investment, Migration, & Growth.

A natural extension of Mr. Mesinschi’s extensive corporate/commercial experience and our immigration law practice, our active Corporate Migration, Investment & Growth practice helps businesses, investors and entrepreneurs from across the globe expand, grow and develop their businesses and ventures in the United States, Canada or both.  In addition, with recent expansions in our affiliate network have also opened doors to other investment-friendly countries such as St.Kitts/Nevis.

In addition to his focus on Corporate/Commercial and Immigration matters, Mr. Mesinschi oversees the Mesinschi Law Offices’ other practice areas and represents clients in a variety of matters including, but not limited to, Real Estate & Property, Estate Planning, Mediation & Arbitration, Foreclosure Defense, Bankruptcy,Condominium and Environmental & Renewable Energy Law.
