Michael P. Courtney

As a member of the Upton & Hatfield, LLP legal team, Attorney Michael P. Courtney primarily provides legal services to municipalities throughout the state of New Hampshire. He is the vice chair of the New Hampshire Bar Association Municipal and Government Section and a member of the New Lawyers Committee of the New Hampshire Bar Association.
Attorney Courtney has a B.A. in history with a minor in political science from Assumption College, and is a New England School of Law graduate. He is admitted to practice in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
Attorney Courtney’s past experience includes working as a law clerk for the New Hampshire Superior Court in Hillsborough, Merrimack, and Cheshire counties. In law school, he worked as an intern with the Massachusetts Superior Clerk, as an editor for Law Review, and as a paralegal with a civil litigation firm and an estate law firm in the Boston area.
