Life happens.  I specialize in representing people with disabilities and elders deal with the frustrations and joys that life gives them.  In addition, I am passionate about protecting the civil rights of all persons, and take cases of race and sec discrimination as well as disability discrimination.  You will receive personalized and prompt attnetion from me, not a paralegal or legal assistant.  I can guide you through the complexities of discrimination law, special education law, Medicaid, Social Security, caring for a person with disabilities, or dealing with your own disability.  Unlike other firms, which may specialize in one area of disability and elder law (for example, Medicaid planning or employment discrimination), I have a unique background and knowledge in all of these areas, and can help you fit the puzzle pieces together.  I began my legal career in 1987 as a staff attorney specializing in public benefits law (Medicaid, Social Security Disability, SSI), taught a clinical program on public benefits at a law school, litigated individual and class actions at the Disabilitiies Rights Center, Concord, NH, prepared wills, trusts and powers of attorney at a small law firm, and have had my own office for 18 years.  I can help you see the big picture, and make the choice that is right for YOU.
