Originally from Oregon, Petar received his Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in French from the University of Oregon; and his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of New Hampshire School of Law (formerly Franklin Pierce Law Center). During law school, Petar graduated from the Daniel Webster Scholar Honors Program, a two-year, intensive bar practicum. Petar continues to be involved in the Daniel Webster Scholar Honors Program in a number of capacities, including as a Family Law Adjunct Professor.
Petar is an active member of the New Hampshire Bar Association and the New Hampshire Family Law Section; and serves on the Continuing Legal Education ("CLE") Committee.
Petar is also a certified practitioner of Collaborative Law, an alternative to the traditional divorce process, which focuses on cooperation and creative problem-solving.
