Ora Schwartzberg

Attorney Ora Schwartzberg has devoted her career to helping people navigate important legal decisions, practicing law continuously since 1985. She earned her J.D. from Vermont Law School after completing a master’s degree in counseling at SUNY Plattsburgh and undergraduate studies in education at Temple University—training that continues to shape her thoughtful, steady approach with clients. Her path to law was anything but typical: she worked as an inner-city high school teacher and later sold cacti as a street vendor in downtown Philadelphia. She launched her legal practice in upstate New York, serving clients in the Saranac Lake and Lake Placid communities until 2002, when she relocated to New Hampshire after passing the New Hampshire Bar. Ora has long been active in bar leadership, including service as Grafton County Bar Association President, Chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section, and a two-term member of the New Hampshire Bar Association Board of Governors. She now serves on the Bar’s Legislative Committee and is a Fellow of the New Hampshire Bar Foundation. Today, she concentrates on estate planning and administration, assisting families with wills, trusts, probate, and trust administration, and she holds certifications in marital mediation, collaborative law, and financial litigation.
