Ann N. Butenhof, Esquire, CELA® is a highly experienced attorney specializing in estate and elder law for over twenty years. Leveraging her background in both the public and private sectors, Ann assists individuals and families and serves as a trusted legal resource for attorneys and financial planners in the areas of Medicaid eligibility, special needs planning, and long-term care and estate planning.
A Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA®), she has been recognized by her peers every year since 2003 as one of New Hampshire’s best attorneys in the area of Elder Law. Ann is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and is on the board of directors of the Special Needs Alliance (SNA). She is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC).

The Supreme Court ruled in our favor on both grounds. The Court further held that financial information about the trust could be demanded to determine income eligibility based upon how the trust assets were used.
