Brenda is the Best of the Best

Prior to my ex filing for divorce he mentioned it so I thought I should seek legal council not wanting it but anticipating it might happen. A dear friend referred me to Brenda and we had two consultations where she provided me with valuable information on how to proceed if that was what my ex desire...d. Sure enough, and although I anticipated the possibility, I was blindsided by a 6:20am text from a constable on my children’s first day of school. I immediately retained Brenda. Our case was very complex with children involved and she navigated the ship with precise legal knowledge, care, compassion, and understanding. She always responded, sometimes within minutes, to my questions, issues, and concerns. She guided me not just for my own wellbeing but for what was in the best interest of my children. Brenda worked alongside my ex’s attorney to obtain the most equitable agreement and that is what divorce should be about. Brenda is a skilled attorney who knows how to manage, prioritize, and work together with other attorneys to provide the best outcome out of one of life’s most difficult situations. It is a 50/50 chance a marriage will survive and if it does not Brenda will be there, not to resuscitate because when it is over it is over. She will be there to guide you through the devastation and trauma so you can move forward and live again. She is kind, caring, compassionate, and has legal expertise that is above all others. With this being said, she is a team player and part of her team is Kiara her assistant. Every email sent she responds to sometimes within minutes. Her communication is above all others which is key and she dissipates the anxiety of having to enter an office to sign emotionally pressing paperwork. She intercepts and prepares all of the necessary legal documentation involved which is often intricate and complex. If you ever, unfortunately, find yourself on a ship in rough seas with little hope and/or knowledge of how to navigate Brenda and Kiara will guide your ship home to safety. In addition to this and in my opinion, you have to approach an attorney with an investment mindset. Divorce is not inexpensive for anyone but with the best attorney it is an investment. Brenda is the best of the best and will provide you with a profitable return, most notably what is in the best interest of your children.

Rioles Law review

Brenda and her team have helped me twice in my custody situation with my daughter. They where beyond excellent on both occasions. When I married my wife, the mother of my first child (never married) decided to take me to court. I walked away with a fair court order that provided me with more time wit...h my daughter than I had previously. 3 years later when my daughter's mother violated that court order Rioles Law was called upon again and things where set right. These experiences are stressful, Brenda and her team are thorough and on point. When questions come up they reply expediently and explain things in language that a person like me (who has no legal training) can understand. I have recommended them in the past and would certainly do it again.

Excellent

Brenda was very knowledgeable and successful in the handling of my divorce, child custody/support, distribution of assets and unexpected issues that happened along the way. I'm confident that her experience in all areas of divorce gave me the best outcome possible for my situation.

Difficult Case, Resolved Quickly

Brenda adeptly advised me on how to avoid the pitfalls of a long litigation battle and instead we promptly settled my child custody case. An aggressive attorney on the other side made this extremely difficult; he is known for dragging the parties through years of litigation, and that would have been ...to the detriment of everyone, including my child. Have a difficult family law case? I highly recommend you at least consult with and consider hiring Brenda.

Not the worst, but not the best

My child was taken out of my house illegally so I came to her on a good reference trusting she would be able to help me out. Her consultation was fine and I coughed the $4000 retainer up right away. The good - she successfully got me an emergency custody order from a judge and I was immediately ab...le to get my child back within days of opening the case. When the defendant's lawyer came with accusations she also was able to argue my case in spite of taking facts on my story down wrong. She has a lot of experience, and knows the lawyers and judges well so she can argue a case with ease. The bad - While she knows family law like the back of her hand, she's a horrendous communicator with clients. She seemed to think I was lying to her and didn't seem very happy to defend me. When you're coming to a family lawyer knowing nothing, they should be prepared to guide you through the process better. She will tell you she's been doing this for over 30 years to try to instill confidence in you as a client and then will throw things out the window that should have been taken into consideration in the case (e.g. a recording of the defendant threatening me). I had to go to a family member who is a lawyer out of state for advice on how to talk to her, and had I not been privy to that advice I don't know if Brenda could have defended my case. My experience with her was that she was very unsympathetic and always tuned out. Overall I do not recommend Brenda for what I paid her. She did help my case get settled out of court but the credit for that goes more to the people in my life who rallied around me in a difficult time, she was just there collecting a paycheck. She gets a passing grade, but it's closer to a C than an A. If I have to return to family court I will take my chances with someone else.
