Biography
I help clients with business and estate planning legal matters. I assist Rhode Island and Massachusetts businesses with corporate governance, contracts, leasing, employment, business financing, mergers and acquisitions, shareholder disputes, and commercial real estate transfers. My clients include construction companies, restaurants, engineering and accounting firms, physicians, commercial landlords, and condominium associations. In addition to corporate law, I also assist business owners and other individuals with estate planning matters, such as the preparation of wills and trusts, business succession planning, probate, estate and trust administration, guardianship, and elder law. I am a past president and a current member of the Rhode Island Women's Bar Association and am a current member of the Estate Planning Council of Rhode Island and National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA). I have served on the boards of several professional and community organizations and am proud to participate in the Rhode Island Bar Association Elderly Pro Bono program, providing free legal services to low income elderly Rhode Islanders.
