My boyfriend and I found ourselves in a situation where we needed a lawyer and were not sure where to start as neither of us have ever been in trouble. I remembered seeing an ad for AVVO so I decided to ...look on there. We knew it would be a somewhat easy case, but I am a worry wart so I didnt want to just pick some Joe Schmo. I sorted the website to see who had the highest AVVO rating and the highest reviews and that is how I found Tom Thomasian. I read all of the reviews and everyone seemed to be very pleased with his services and I saw that he offered a free consultation so I figured it wouldnt hurt to just meet with him and see what he thought. I called Tom's office and I expected to just set up an appointment with a secretary, I left my name and number and about 5 minutes later Tom called me himself to set up the appointment. I told him our situation and he seemed confident that he would be able to help us out. A few days later we met him at his office and after meeting with him and going over what he could do for us, I knew he was the right person to hire. Now don't get me wrong, he isnt the cheapest attorney, but you get what you pay for. Do you really want to cut coupons for a lawyer? I dont, I would rather pay good money and feel confident walking into court with someone who I know has our back. Tom was always there to answer any questions we had, whether I called him or sent him a text message. We went to court three times, each time we were there for 10 minutes max. In the end our case was dismissed and we had it expunged. Hopefully I will never have to hire Tom again, but I will always keep his card in my wallet because if anyone ever needs help he is the person I will send them to. If you are looking for a lawyer and you are scared and have no idea what to expect (like I was) he is the best lawyer to have because he will talk you through each step of the process and make sure that you are comfortable with what is going on with your case.
