Douglas E. Chabot

Douglas E. Chabot is an associate attorney within the personal injury and medical malpractice practice area group of Marasco & Nesselbush. Douglas brings more than 14 years of personal injury experience to the Marasco & Nesselbush team. Douglas understands the physical, financial, and emotional challenges that clients endure as they recover from a devastating injury. “When I represent a client, I want them to concentrate only on healing their injuries and taking care of themselves. As their attorney, I take on the burden of building a strong case and zealously advocating for their legal needs.”

Before joining Marasco & Nesselbush, Douglas worked at Decof, Barry, Mega, & Quinn where his efforts helped secure millions of dollars for clients injured by medical malpractice, defective products, motor vehicle accidents, and professional malpractice.

Additionally, he served as a judicial law clerk for Associate Justice Francis X. Flaherty of the Rhode Island Supreme Court. He also practiced as a student attorney for the Rhode Island Public Defender’s Office and the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office in Taunton, Massachusetts.

Douglas graduated from Providence College, majoring in history, with a minor in political science, and earned his J.D., graduating magna cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School in 2009. While at Suffolk, Douglas was an Associate Executive Editor of the Suffolk Law Review.
