He is awful !!!! I hired him to help my son with visitation and child support and never did anything he was supposed to have done . He messed up all the visitation for my sons to have with his son ! Never filed papers didn’t do the paper work he was supposed to have done . He looked horrible for cou...rt and smelled like weed . Never gave us copies until this day !! Never answered calls or text messages! You better off paying someone more money than getting screwed over ! Now I have to hire someone else to fix his F ups !!

Stay away!!! Lied twice about filing my court Docs.. with reasons and excuses..! Even told me a Constable was attempting to serve other party my Docs for 3 weeks!! Gave me her name and details to make me think all was on up n up!! But some of his responses made me question him! I called court to ...verify my case was filed, to find out he had only just filed one day pervious, 7 months after I paid him.. 6 months after he told me he filed to 1st time! 3rd lie was the Constable, I called her directly to verify, of course, she’d never heard of me or my case!! Completely unprofessional! Reporting him!

Long story short hired this attorney for a divorce. If you want to do most of the leg work yourself and more than once because somehow he needs things again and again, if you want to make repeated calls to try to get him to call you back, if you want to show up In court after making arrangements to ...be out of work to find out your case has been postponed and he didn’t tell you but somehow your soon to be ex husband knew about it, if you want this divorce case to take forever because of all of his short comings and if you want to end up getting screwed over in the end, go ahead, give him a call. Promises the moon to get you to hire him then basically disappears and has you do what you are paying him for.. the only positive is I finally got my divorce and he reduced his fee because he knew he screwed up.

I hired Attorney Steven Surdut in November 2016 for a family court matter. I meet with Mr. Surdut for the first time in November 2016 where I outlined all my requests which consisted of four separate issues. In January of 2017 he made a call to the attorney who represents my ex in an attempt to handl...e the matters outside of court which was refused by his attorney. I was notified by Mr. Surdut’s paralegal that we would be filing a motion to go to court. I did not have another meeting with Mr. Surdut until April 4, 2017 after much harassment and the meeting was required to review again what my issues were because he couldn’t remember despite my putting in writing for him what I was looking to do. The same occurred again which resulted in a meeting on May 23, 2017 where we discussed once again what it was that I was looking to have done and I provided him in writing with my requests AGAIN. All three meetings consisted of me telling him over and over again what I was looking to do, while he talked about his family. I can tell you all about his mom the nurse! I even provided Mr Surdut with all the necessary documents so he had no research to do for my case. For example I provided all the estimates for my daughters school and then the actual bill when he took so long. When he called me in Sept or Oct. of 2017 to have another meeting I refused and told him to just file the motions that I requested. I was given a court date in November of 2017 but it was only for one issue not the four that I had requested be addressed. I requested that the date be canceled if all issues were not addressed in the filed motion as I did not want to miss multiple days of work and he was not doing as I requested. He finally answered my request two days prior to the court date! Since that time I have emailed him with no response. I made a request for a full refund to Attorney George Comolli who is the owner of the practice on 12/11/17. I got a reply from him the same day stating he would look into things but have not heard anything from him since that day. I did receive an email from Mr. Surdut on 12/29/17 informing me that he would get me a bill for the services he claims he rendered but have not heard anything else since that time. This law office has wasted over a year of my life and I have nothing to show for it. I still have to go and file to take my ex to court and will be doing it on my own now thanks to the bad taste left in my mouth from this office and I still haven't gotten a refund and it's now 2018.

I have to recant my first reviw of Mr surdut. I have not heard from Steven in over a yr. after follow up calls. and a brief converstation . Mr Surdut, has dropped tha ball and left me hanging. I belive he is NOt capable as a attoney. No comutication Lack of responce, he did take a small amount of m...oney. after that i never heard from him again. except my email to him and call to his office went unanswered.
