Just an overall delightful person to have enough empathy to listen to the severity and sensitivity of my case in such a manner that was very appealing and uplifting. Family law is life or death in some sense. When you lose parental rights and your child gets adopted without you knowing by your X... mother in law it is like a death. Or even worse. I’m a single dad who has been attacked and controlled and kept at bay for 6 years because I have fought so hard to see my child who is only 6 years old in Kindergarten. Without attorneys like Ms. Goldman single fathers like myself would never have a fair and just shot in family court as mothers get just for being the mother. Ms. Goldman understands fathers are needed in their child’s life. Many other RI family attorneys do not believe in father’s rights , this is what separates Ms. Goldman after only speaking with her a few times.

Went to meet with her for a family court consultation. While discussing child sexual and physical abuse of my son, Rebecca would sporadically smirk as if what I was telling her was amusing. She also misintepreted the judges orders I showed her. She tried to tell me I misunderstood it. I checked and c...onfirmed that I was correct. Apparently she doesn't understand what the word "pending" means. I highly recommend finding someone else.

Worst experience every! Over a year later and we are are in a worst stage then when we started. She is very unresponsive and seems to always look for the easy way out even if it’s at the cost of her own client. Many many calls go in answered. Never even could provide me with the same documentation my... ex had from his lawyer. Advised me of what I was allowed to do and was wrong and now it’s being used against me. Plan and simple just could be bothered with my case but still finds time to charge me. I have consulted two other lawyers that confirmed what my exes lawyer has been saying all along. My lawyer keeps dropping the ball. Maybe just another day at work for her but this is my life and I am on the verge of losing more time with my son because of her inability to do her job. Do yourself a favor and keep searching for a real divorce lawyer.
