I was trying to get a divorce and decided to use my friends brother as my attorney. That was my first mistake. We did make it to court but there were issues and that is the last time I actually talked to this attorney. I chased him for a year and a half to find out what was happening and he just wasn...'t returning any of my calls. I was frustrated and aggravated! I finally remembered that Chris had helped me with a custodial issue I had several years earlier. I called, gave all my information and got a call back from Chris the same day. I had an appointment within days where we sat down and I explained what had happened. I was worried that I wouldn't get anyone to pick up where the other guy left off but that wasn't a problem. Chris assured me that he would take care of this, and he did!! He chased down all the paperwork (I didn't have anything from the previous lawyer) and was able to get everything in order, filed and finalized so quickly!! Chris is a great guy who is easy to speak to and his office staff is great as well!!! Although I hope to never get divorced again, if I do I will definitely call Chris!!!

Chris is a great lawyer and a good guy. He has excellent turnaround time even though he handles a lot of cases. I've always heard back from him within 24 hrs. on a consistent basis. He will be honest with you and not sugar coat anything, so be prepared for that. Not everyone wants honesty, and would... rather hear what they want to hear, but that's not going to serve them well if they get surprised in the courtroom. My personal observations in the courtroom: Judges respect and respond well to Chris. He has been doing divorce law for s long time and never loses sight of the big picture. He works well with the other lawyer and nothing, and I mean NOTHING surprises him. He has seen it all and is very confident and knowledgeable. He understands that there is life after divorce-and there is-and that especially if there are kids involved, burning bridges completely with an ex spouse will having stressful and lasting effects on everyone. To that end, he is wonderful at interpersonal relationships and you truly know that he is working with BOTH sides for the best possible outcome for you during and post divorce. That may not seem like what you want to hear if you hate your ex, but believe me, as hellacious as living through a divorce is, at some point things do calm down and you get back to the business of living. Chris is also extremely thorough and trustworthy. Once you know you can depend on him and trust him, it will make it so much easier to appreciate how he leaves no stone unturned for you. Lawyers are expensive, no doubt and no one enjoys paying one, but he has done an amazing job in making sure that I got everything I needed settled BEFORE the divorce was finalized. This is no small point. I have people I now personally that paid way more for way less and were just concerned with getting a quicker divorce. No one likes to spend money on lawyers, but he has a good heart. He will not drag things along indefinitely just to make more money, however he will advise you to tie up all lose ends...visitation, property, pension. Be prepared that it might take a while to get those things in order, but when you have that final divorce decree in hand you won't regret the extra time and money spent on the front end to have lasting peace of mind. Man or woman, he will do well by you.
