It’s not in my nature to leave a review. However, in this instance, I was compelled to do so. Prior to the resolution of my case, I shared with my friends and relatives how pleased I was with my representation. Attorney Heberg demonstrated all the qualities I believe you look for as a client. He was... knowledgeable and there was a genuine caring and easiness about him that helped calm emotional situations. He listened to my concerns ( sometimes gripes) and offered practical advise based on his experience and expertise. He was forthright in his assessments ( not just what you want to hear)and above all, I was impressed with his common sense approach to litigating. He returned my phone calls and made me feel like I had a tremendous advocate fighting for me. His fees were more than reasonable. While I was joyous with my outcome, I would have had no reservations about recommending him if the outcome were different!

I was married for 20 years and a stay at home mom. When I decided to leave my marriage the next important decision I had to make was to hire the right attorney to represent me. Chris and I discussed how to go about this divorce so it would come to a resolution quickly. Chris suggested we go through mediation and it was a rough start at first with all the raw emotions. Our mediator was amazing in trying to get us to see the only thing that was important are the children and what is best for them. It took a few times of my ex getting angry and storming out, but James Bigos knew to give him space before calling us back. After the last mediation we finalized everything. The zoom court was easy and Chris did an amazing job representing me. I would highly recommend Christopher Heberg for anyone going through a divorce.
