Amber Rose Cohen

Before co-founding Cohen Cleary, P.C., Attorney Cohen worked as associate counsel for a small firm in Plymouth.   Attorney Cohen concentrates her legal practice in the areas of family law, probate and estates, guardianships of minors and incapacitated persons as well as civil litigation. Attorney Cohen is passionate about her work in representing those who are in need of legal representation, and strives to follow our firm’s promise of integrity, commitment and results.

Attorney Cohen is a certified member of the National College of DUI Defense, the criminal defense bar advocate panel and is a co-founder of the Attorneys Representing Children (ARC) program in Bristol and Plymouth Counties. Attorney Cohen is admitted to practice before all Massachusetts courts as well as the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, the United States First Circuit of Appeals and the Supreme Court of the United States. 

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Attorney Cohen lived in Colorado for 11 years. She attended high school in the Aspen Valley (Roaring Fork) and earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder. During her undergraduate program, Attorney Cohen volunteered in many programs during which time she began to cultivate the desire to assist people.  She earned her Bachelor’s degreein psychology with a minor in the law. In May of 2008, Attorney Cohen earned her Juris Doctorate degree from University of Massachusetts School of Law at Dartmouth cum laude.

Attorney Cohen is the recipient of the Boston Rising Stars, Top 40 Under 40 Award in 2014.  Additionally, she is the recipient of the Sara Clairman Award for Academic Excellence, the Academic Achievement Award (class rank # 2), and Pro Bono Award honored by the New Center for Legal Advocacy in addition to many other distinguished awards.  Attorney Cohen had the honor of serving as the Editor-in-Chief of the Roundtable Symposium Law Journal.  Attorney Cohen is a published author of A Square Peg Into A Round Hole:  Trade Dress Protection of Websites, The Perspective of The Consumer And The Dilemma For The Courts, 3 S.
