Mark Gould

This experience was shared by a friend of mine. In 2015 Mark Gould who was introducing himself as a Harvard consultant and a lawyer, offered a friend of mine to help with tax filing and asked a $50 charge. During filing process Mark Gould used his own software and his personal computer. Things... got complicated with filing but Mark Gould behaved as nothing was wrong. Later that friend had to consult with the professional tax lawyer who explained how Mark Gould skipped his tax filer’s ID because Mark Gould was not a tax specialist. As a result, Mark Gould could not help filing my friend’s tax, did not submit it correctly and also did not share any concerns. My friend thought her tax filing was okay. In about two weeks my friend received a letter from IRS that her tax filing was rejected including a fee for late tax filing. At the end, my friend had to pay the late filing fee, file tax again with the professional tax lawyer and stayed without a refund. As for Mark Gould, my friend received back a $50 check for his services and followed by a long email stating that he did not understand his fault. I am writing this review to warn everyone: please be mindful before hiring Mark Gould if he ever offers his tax help. Now, ladies, My friend also shared how that tax meeting ended. After filing they, my friend and Mark Gould, walked out of the Harvard building and were locked in the room. My friend was in panic how to get out of that space and Mark Gould has attempted to flirt with her and ignored her personal space. Luckily, very shortly, the room was unlocked by a cleaning person from outside, and nothing dramatic happened. Just sharing my friend’s experience working with Mark Gould, hoping that it could help others. Me and my friend DON’T recommend dealing with Mark Gould and letting him access your tax files.
