Paid this lawyer on two occasions. Claimed he never received payment even though the checks we’re deposited months earlier. Let the restraining order against my ex who at the time was being tried for rape and A&B laps so now him and his current girlfriend have harassed me at home, online, and at my p...lace of work. Lawyer didn’t show up for last two hearings. Lawyer hasn’t answered calls, emails or mail. Had to have him email all information to me so I could obtain another lawyer, took 2 months to even contact him to retrieve this info. Horrible service. He doesn’t know law at all.

Hired Attorney Brais to handle probate matter for my wife. Should have been straight-forward. Attorney Brais let it drag out for a year which resulted in opposing counsel file for damages. Both my wife and I called attorney Brais dozens of times. He NEVER returned the calls. Finally, after tellin...g his secretary that I was going to file a complaint with the bar association, he spoke with my wife telling her this was “small money” and there was no action we could take. We went to this guy for help and he made matters much worse. Even stranger, he never sent me a bill. How many lawyers don’t bill? I suspect that there was something else at play, but can’t prove anything.
