What makes Tom a great attorney is that he first listens, then, in easy to understand English, presents all solutions, and he recommends the best one. Obviously very bright, he has a passion for the law, yet, I never felt he was above me. What a great asset for the South Coast - no need to have to... travel to Boston for a "big city lawyer"!

I was referred to Attorney Ryan by my financial advisor to handle the sale of my home. I was scheduled to be out of the country at the time, but had no hesita...tion to request Attorney Ryan to have POA. Typically in closings things can go awry, but Attorney Ryan anticipated, and quickly addressed and dispensed with, the issues that arose, all the while protecting my interests in the property. The closing went off without a hitch! But here is where Tom Ryan’s legal abilities take a quantum leap over any counsel that I have come into contact; either business or personal. Subsequent to our initial business, I was involved in the resolution of an estate. I found myself on the receiving end of a difficult situation. I had called Attorney Ryan on an unrelated matter, and when he heard the stress in my voice, asked if everything was okay. When I told him what was occurring, he suggested that I come over immediately with all the documentation. We discussed the issues and I left his office feeling that I was not alone and had the support of a great legal mind. But most importantly, someone was on my side. Over the course of the next several months, I relied on Attorney Ryan to guide me through this most unpleasant situation. The situation was complicated by the fact that the dealings were occurring out of my state of residence and there were scheduled court dates; Attorney Ryan worked with the other attorneys and I did not have to take time off from work to fly out to any hearing. Attorney Ryan kept me informed, always consulted me prior to discussion with opposing counsel, and was an astounding mediator. Attorney Ryan worked extremely well with opposing counsel and the issue was resolved in a pareto optimal manner. I was able to resume living my life without this additional stress. Recommend him?
