Excellent Lawyer!

When a lawyer I was referred to failed to live up to promises and would not return calls, I sought recommendations from two police officers figuring they would know who the good criminal lawyers were. They BOTH highly recommended Atty Fredette, telling me he was one of the few lawyers other police of...ficers hired when they were confronted with criminal charges. I called him and received a call back the same day. He told me he does not meet with potential clients unless retained, but that he would obtain my police report and call me back if he thought he could help me. He would not charge me anything for this. I half expected not to hear from him but he called me the next day. He asked whether I had any prior record and I explained I had a case dismissed over 10 years before. He asked me several more questions about my case. He then quoted me a fixed price for representation and a fee schedule. I am so glad I hired this man! The case took 8 months with most of the time due to the DA continuing the case. Mr. Fredette would not accept anything less than dismissal or not guilty and I was found not guilty after a jury trial. Interestingly, the two police officers that testified both came up to us after the verdict out in the hallway and shook his hand telling him he did a great job! Weird! I have referred a friend to Mr. Fredette since and I know they are happy with him too.

Preeminent Criminal Defense Attorney

We were referred to attorney Fredette for our son. I was leery to hire him because he does not do free consultations. He asked for the name of our son and called back the same day, having read the police report. He quoted me a fixed fee and explained his terms for payment, which were more than reason...able. We are so glad we hired him. The DA's office tried to prevent our son from posting bail, but attorney Fredette got him released. The case was dismissed after he argued a motion that the police obtained evidence illegally. Attorney Fredette answered phone calls the same day I left messages and kept us fully informed throughout. He never made promises he couldn't keep and told us the truth, even if we didn't like the answer. Our son has made a full turn around since the case. I cannot endorse this man enough!
