also known as Cindy Salazar
Cindy was born in Providence, Rhode Island to Ecuadorian immigrants who came to the United States in 1968. For many years she knew she wanted to practice law, and began her career by receiving a Masters degree in Criminal Justice with a core concentration in International Policy and Relations. Cindy attended Roger Williams University School of Law in Bristol, Rhode Island and graduated with her Juris Doctor law degree in 2010. Cindy's practice concentration has been in asylum and refugee law. In 2019, Cindy traveled to Karnes, Texas to volunteer for two weeks in the detention centers of the South. She spent her time preparing detainees for their upcoming credible fear interviews in support of their asylum claims. Cindy has experience in courts across the country including California, New York, Texas and more.
She remains active in her community as Legal Advisory Board Member for Sojourner House, a non profit organization dedicated to serving victims of domestic violence in Rhode Island. She is also a board member for Southeastern Girl Scouts of the USA. She is the youngest member ever to be inducted into “The Wednesday Club” a ladies debate club in Rhode Island founded in 1894.
Her outside passions include pageant preparation for clients who are competing from ages 5-50, as well as sharpening interview skills.
Fun Fact: she lost the Eastern region national spelling bee when she was 10 years old by misspelling the word “asylum.”

Helped my Citizenship Papers
Cindy Salazar was a big help to my citizenship papers. After another attorney could not get my citizenship to go through, she did it in 6 months. I am very grateful. She is a great lawyer I would recommend.

Very disappointed
we hired Cindy B. As our lawyer. My family & I thought she was great at first with the deportation case. At first it was going really great then everything went down hill. Simply as that I wouldn't recommend Cindy B. As a lawyer. She was not professional at all!!
