Fawn Ayres Schanz

Advises on all aspects of legal risk and governance to support IFAW’s efforts to rescue and protect animals around the world.  Works closely with IFAW’s General Counsel, the Board of Directors, CEO, legal team and senior management on legal issues and risk management, and collaborate with IFAW teams across all departments and around the world to resolve legal issues. Manages corporate governance for IFAW’s offices in 15 countries, including establishing new international entities to support IFAW’s strategic vision. Advises on all legal aspects of IFAW’s activities, including in relation to contracts, media and licensing, data protection, employment law, fundraising, insurance and animal law issues.
