No matter how smooth or amicable a divorce can be, the end of a marriage is still a sad and emotional process. Like many people, I had never been through a divorce before and knew nothing about the process except that we wanted to go the mediation route with the goal of achieving an optimal nesting a...rrangement for our teenage son.
