Danielle M. Gifford

I am an associate in a law firm in the greater Boston area. I focus my practice in the areas of federal employment law, administrative law and appeals, agency and congressional investigations, security clearance matters, and whistleblower and discrimination complaints. I am also experienced in the formation of non-profit, charitable organizations, business transactions, real estate transactions, and probate matters. My firm has expertise in civil litigation, insurance defense, residential and commercial real estate transactions, and the general representation of individuals and business owners.

I joined Avery Dooley & Noone in October of 2010. As an Associate, I focus my practice primarily on the representation of federal and state employees in employment matters and on the formation of new business entities. I handle employment matters such as:

• Agency and congressional investigations
• Office of Special Counsel investigations
• Security clearance investigations and revocations
• Disciplinary actions
• Whistleblower matters
• Discrimination claims

I have represented employees in cases before the Merit Systems Protection Board, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination.
