If its an Etrade type of account, you should give them a call and ask. I am sure they have options for foreign investors.

You would need to file an employment based visa and then have the employer file for your green card.

Timing is extremely important in such cases. I would recommend that you talk with an attorney to see when/if she should file for another tourist...

This happens all the time from applicants from Asian countries. If you were naturalized, there is already a record of both your parents names....
