If you have a business in Saudi Arabia and open a branch in the US, this much money should be sufficient for a L1 visa.

Brother cannot start a busines on a H1. You need a EAD to do so.

It's only been a week, wait a couple more weeks. Also, if you filed through an attorney, the attorney's office gets notification as well.

New employer will need to sponsor you again. Once that H1 is approved, you need to get it stamped before being able to enter the US.
