My case was really easy. It was a simple check if there is anything I could do to my former employer, based on what I thought was not properly done. I sent my employer agreement and my personal notes. We met for a 20 minutes face to face after he read my documents. He said, my case was very normal..., and my company did not do anything wrong and there was nothing he could do about it. I understood his explanations and convinced me thing was worth to pursue. For this 20 minutes plus the time he said took him to research charged $830. Absolutely not fair and he refused to re consider. No shame on that.
