Robert Gaines is a terrific real estate tax attorney.

Bob knows his field very well. He has handled multiple real estate tax appeals for me in three different cities over the last several years. In all but one case, each appeal was settled satisfactorily without going to the appellate tax board. We won the one that did go to the appellate tax board! ... He is reasonable and represented my organization with the cities in an evenhanded manner. I highly recommend him.

Robert J. Gaines, Esq

Atty Gaines KNOWS his business. I have used him for a number of years specifically to analyze the taxes on various commercial properties, and to file for Abatements when appropriate. He is the best I've seen at this work. I wouldn't consider using anyonelse.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
