If you are reading this review, then chances are that you, like I was 2 years ago, are looking for a divorce lawyer. I knew I needed an experienced, dedicated, knowledgeable, and straight to the point lawyer that would do their best for me and my children. I needed a lawyer that would be there for me... day or night for guidance, to answer my questions, or just to put my mind at ease. Without a doubt, that is Lauren Popovitch who ALWAYS has your back and your best interest in mind.

I worked with Lauren for over two and a half years, and my case eventually went to trial. I don't think I could've gotten through the whole ordeal without her as my attorney. Despite how terrible the circumstances were, choosing Lauren to represent me was one of the best decisions I've ever made in m...y life. To start, the way that Lauren interacts with her clients is just one of the many reasons that she is an amazing attorney-- she is extremely compassionate, unbelievably caring, and is super responsive to her clients. It is quite apparent that she becomes personally invested in your case, and you will never doubt that she will do everything possible to get you and your family the best possible outcome. If you want an attorney that you can trust, look no further. She will have your back, and she will do everything she can to help you. She was always available to answer questions, to talk me through things, or to collaborate. Unlike how it sounds with many other attorneys, you work together with Lauren. As for how Lauren is in the courtroom, you DO NOT want her on the opposing side. She is absolutely incredible in the courtroom! She is poised, extraordinarily thorough, and she will know your case inside out. Throughout our many court appearances together, I was always so impressed with how Lauren handled whatever came our way. She puts a great deal of effort into every piece of paperwork submitted to the court, and truly puts other attorneys' efforts to shame. The difference between Lauren's representation and the other lawyers that I observed in court was night and day. Lauren also has an extensive knowledge of case law, which was weaved into every motion, argument, and pleading we submitted to the court. Lauren attempted to facilitate a reasonable settlement several times throughout the case, but the other side wouldn't budge. As such, Lauren was tough where we needed to be and didn't back down, and acted as the best advocate I could have asked for. As far as billing, everyone knows that divorce/custody/litigation is extremely expensive. Lauren has been above and beyond in terms of fairness. She has always worked with me around my budget, and her billing is EXTREMELY honest and transparent. All in all, I can't express how much I appreciate all the work that Lauren has done for myself and my child, and couldn't recommend her more highly. I can confidently say that she is probably of the very best lawyers in the Northeast, and she's just an absolute rockstar at what she does. I feel incredibly lucky that I found her, and working with her was one of the brightest spots in a dark period of time. You will never doubt her integrity or capability, and she will be your biggest supporter.

I hired Lauren for a for a separation case which involved a valuable piece of property and I couldn't have been happier with my choice of lawyer. She was always there when I needed her, consistently ahead of the game at each step in the legal process, always over-prepared compared to other attorneys ...(also made sure I was always prepared mentally and emotionally for each step), knew when to hold the hard line and when to also bend (although very little) to keep the case moving in the right direction. She's exactly what you want in an attorney in every way. She'll take you in like you're family and protect you and your interests as if you were her own. Simply the best, don't bother hiring anyone else.

I initially contacted Lauren for advice and information on the possibility that I would need to retain her services for my divorce, which I ultimately did. I was incredibly happy that I made that decision. Lauren was understanding and sympathetic when she needed to be, but I knew I would have a hard ...time being assertive enough to stand up for myself legally, and she made it clear from the beginning that she would do whatever it took to get me what I deserved. She never hesitated to stand up for me or advocate for me. She was organized, methodical and conscientious of my time, as time is money, particularly in a case like this, which reassured me throughout the process. She was aggressive where it was necessary, and a sympathetic ear when I needed it. My case was by no means a difficult one in terms of assets or property, but I was often very emotional during my case, and she was genuinely concerned about me throughout those months. I also felt like our personalities worked very well together, and her sharing parts of her life with me made it feel easier to do that with her, which helped me get through everything. I'm sure most lawyers could have gotten the job done, but not like Lauren. I couldn't be happier that I hired her.
