If no stars were an option, that's what I would give.

Completely unprofessional. She never listened to my true concerns and proceeded in a direction I did not feel comfortable with. The only time she was in contact with me was when she needed me to complete paperwork so she could get paid. She cost me thousands of dollars for nothing but headaches a...nd waisted time. You would have better results if you hire an attorney who got their degree off a cereal box, or better yet, represent yourself.

Fantastic Attorney!!

I recently had Atty. Carlson represent me in an on going child support / alimony case. She always kept me informed along the way and made sure I had answers to any and all questions that I had. During the proceedings she was always knowledgeable and knew exactly what was going on. She made sure I was... comfortable w/ any and all decisions before entering into the agreement. She had my best interest at heart the whole time. The outcome of the case was exactly what I was looking for and was completley possible due to Atty Carlson's expertise!

Lives up to Reputation

While searching for an attorney, several colleagues of mine highly recommended Attorney Carlson to handle my Employment case. She was extremely quick to respond and had me convinced almost immediately that I had a strong case. Attorney Carlson proved to be knowledgeable of the Law and provided a leve...l of service better than any attorney I've worked with in the past. Not limited to existing law, Attorney Carlson enlightened me with recent and upcoming changes to the law that I'm sure most others were completely unaware of. I was so satisfied with the outcome of my employment case that I later contacted Attorney Carlson to assist me with a divorce case and was met with the same friendly, speedy, knowledgeable service I had been previously accustomed to.

Unprofessional

I used this attorney in a divorce case. Motions were filed full of errors and inaccurate. When this attorney left my case my file was left on the ground outside her office where a complete stranger could have picked up my file and walked away with it. Why pay someone $200/hr for this kind of service.... Find a better lawyer that will follow the law and work for you not against you. If you need a lawyer find one that actually knows the law.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
