Doris J. Muirhead

I hired Doris Muirhead to sue my landlord. The board of health found 15 code violations in his property. After being ordered to pay for a hotel stay, he filed an eviction in housing court. Muirhead did not file suite on him, instead, she tried to counter in HOUSING COURT! The judge told her that she ...was in the wrong court to sue someone. Long story short, She botched my case! The head of the board of health was eager to testify against the landlord on my behalf but Muirhead did not file on the landlord like I paid her to do! I gave her $750 upfront. She told me she was going to wait for the landlord to file an eviction, and then counter just to save on filing fees! Mind you, she wanted 25% of whatever settlement awarded. When I hired her, she told me she never lost a case. Well, come to find out, she only had ONE CASE! In short, the housing court judge had to side with the landlord because Muirhead didn't know what she was doing. The judge said to me "You have a good case against your landlord but this is not the right court for this". If you're thinking about hiring Doris Muirhead, good luck! Ask her about the family in Hanson she screwed!! If I knew then what I know now, I would've sued her for malpractice! BEWARE!
