I was acquaintances with this guy and hired him for that reason. You can't take this guy seriously. First off, being a lawyer is just a side gig for him, he's not a full-time lawyer. My initial consultation with him was at his house where he poured himself a couple alcoholic beverages. He's all t...alk and no action. During my divorce, he was supposed to be present when I picked up my belongings from my ex's house. That day, I called him only to find out he was in another state. Was very embarrassing because my ex asked why he wasn't there. He doesn't listen, he just talks over you. Phone calls aren't returned until days later. When I finally fired him, my new lawyer confirmed that none of the things he claimed to have done were completed. So he was lying all the while telling me "the other lawyer is stalling". I told him how unhappy I was and that I wanted my money back because he never actually did anything. He promised to get back to me so he could "make things right".
