Biography
R. G. Shalhoub is a principal in the Boston law firm of Shalhoub & Orlacchio. He is a graduate of Boston University and the University of Wisconsin Law School. He was a trial lawyer at the Massachusetts Defenders Committee from 1974 to 1976. He was a partner in the firm of Shalhoub & Grabau from 1976 to 1979. He is a past Chair of the Criminal Justice Committee of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys, a past Chair and Newsletter Editor of the Criminal Section of the American Trial Lawyers Association. He is a member of ATLA, a former member of the Board of Governors of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys, a member of the Massachusetts Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and a past member of the Individual Rights and Responsibilities Committee of the Massachusetts Bar Association. He has lectured on trial skills and substantive law topics for the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, ATLA and MATA
