Anthony John Cichello

With 20 years’ experience, I concentrate my practice in the areas of commercial litigation and health care law.

I have a broad-based litigation practice before state, federal, administrative tribunals and arbitration panels.  My practice includes extensive experience  in contract, construction, leasing, employment and general litigation matters.  I co-author The Litigators’ Blog writing on current litiation topics for the Krokidas & Bluestein website.  I have also written for several publications on topics relating to my practice areas.

In my health care and non-profit practice, I provide regulatory and general counseling to non-profit and for-profit health care and social service institutional providers, as well as licensed practitioners, on a variety of matters.   My experience includes HIPAA and privacy matters, Tarasoff issues, fraud and abuse, credentialing and privilege disputes.  Advising institutional clients that include hospitals, community health centers, nursing homes and other providers on governance, employment, compliance, administrative appeals, survey matters and ethical issues.

I also represent providers in licensing and discipline matters before various boards of registration, as well as government and private insurers.  I have substantial experience conducting internal investigations regarding employment, billing, potential false claims, compliance and ethics issues and reporting and self-disclosure under self-disclosure protocols and corporate integrity agreements.
