My wife and I used Dave's services when we were buying our first condo. At first, we were hesitant to hire a lawyer, but we're really glad we did. Dave caught an item in the purchase and sale contract that we never would have noticed. It was a clause allowing the seller to renege on the deal at a...ny time before the closing date, leaving us in the cold. Dave demanded that we be entitled to damages in case the seller voided the contract. Sure enough, a month from our closing, the seller decided not to sell us the unit. Without Dave, we would have been entitled to nothing, but because he had insisted on damages in the contract, we received a check from the seller. After paying Dave's fee, paying for an appraisal, and paying for a home inspection, we were still left with several thousand dollars, which definitely helped soften the blow of our deal falling through. Dave kept us in the loop the entire time and responded quickly to my phone calls and emails. More importantly, he is trustworthy. He went the extra mile for us but did not ask for extra compensation in return. We will definitely use Dave's services again in the future.
