PATENT ATTORNEY REVIEW: Hired Bob to investigate a provisional patent. Wasted months of time, only to discover he was unqualified (especially lacking specialized knowledge and experience with our product) to handle our product and process. In my experience of his written communications, completely... unprofessional, rude & took our business/project and money, without disclosing that he did not have the knowledge (mostly experienc) to properly handle what we brought to him. In my opinion and experience in business in working with numerous attorneys and experts, he not did not add value and forward movement to achieving our expressed goal, his closed mindedness to work with those who had specialized experienced and qualified to help, resulted in thousands of dollars of wasted money. I've dealt with attorneys, big & small, new & experienced, professional & unprofessional, for over 40 years. Never ceases to amaze me that attorneys ("professionals"), take your money, whether they're truly qualified (they're the "experts" and as the client, you're relying on them to be honest and fully transparent). Dealing with attorney's is always BUYER BEWARE, but unless they're honest and transparent, it's impossible sometimes to make that determination. If he can't prove that he and/or his firm has the knowledge and specialized expertise to handle your specific product and needs, I'd recommend keep looking until you find the right person.
