Stephen Orlando

My clients are hardworking professionals with busy lives. For them, legal issues are frustrating, worrisome distractions. As their attorney, I strive to limit this burden through practical, cost-effective advocacy. My job is to find creative, efficient solutions for my clients while keeping them updated and informed throughout the process.

I represent architects, engineers, contractors, real estate brokers, landlords, tenants, and employers. I have advocated on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts throughout Massachusetts.
Along with my litigation practice, I draft commercial contracts and provide counseling to individuals and corporations.

Prior to joining Gordon & Rees, I represented neurosurgeons, cardiologists, and oncologists in Boston. I also counseled physicians, nurses, and hospitals facing government investigations and disciplinary action.

In 2017, I obtained favorable verdicts in two jury trials involving several millions dollars in alleged damages. 2018, I obtained summary judgment for my client in the United States District Court. In 2019, I successfully opposed two motions for summary judgment in the United States District Court.

I obtained my undergraduate degree from Providence College. I then attended Suffolk University Law School, where I graduated seventh out of 353 students while serving as a Note Editor for the Suffolk University Law Review and an advocate for the National Trial Team.
