Joseph F. Comenzo

Attorney Comenzo is a distinguished litigator and oral advocate. In law school, he won trial advocacy, appellate advocacy, and negotiation competitions. He earned the award for the Best Advocate in New England in the regional round of the 2006 American College of Trial Lawyers’ National Trial Competition. 

Following law school, Attorney Comenzo spent several years at a boutique civil litigation firm in Boston handling complex civil litigation matters and product liability cases. Later, he transitioned to a solo practice where he focused on criminal defense. During this time, Attorney Comenzo had the privilege of working with esteemed criminal defense attorney, Marty Leppo. He assisted Attorney Leppo with his national criminal defense practice, and handled numerous high-profile criminal matters in both State and Federal courts in Massachusetts and beyond. 

Today, Attorney Comenzo continues to maintain a small solo litigation practice where he handles all forms of litigation matters, including criminal defense, civil rights, divorce and family law, personal injury and general civil litigation. 

He lives presently in Needham with his wife and three lovely children.
