Outstanding Representation

I was a passenger in a very serious motor vehicle accident. My injuries, which were painful and permanent, left me unable to return to work as a police officer. COMMERCIAL INSURANCE COVERAGE AND UNFAIR CLAIMS PRACTICES

Settled during trial for $600,000.00 of which $100,000.00 was for property damage and the remainder was lost of rental income, punitive damages & legal fees.

WRONGFUL TERMINATION AND RETALIATION

Negotiated a mid-six figure settlement. The terms of the settlement agreement included provisions safeguarding the executive’s ability to maintain a high level government clearance status.

NON-COMPETITION: SALES ASSOCIATE

Negotiated a settlement which enabled the sales associate to keep his employment with his new employer, included a significant reduction in the original non-competition period and no money damages.

SEVERANCE AGREEMENT: MARKETING EXECUTIVE

The severance agreement included significant terms regarding the the payment of salary and employment benefits into the future as well as the employer’s agreeing to provide an employment reference the content of which was drafted by the client.

TORT: INTERFERENCE WITH ADVANTAGEOUS BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP

The amount of the negotiated settlement payment was equal to approximately one year of her earnings as an outside sales representative.

TORT & UNLAWFUL RETALIATION: PUBLIC SCHOOL TEACHER

The six figure settlement included significant terms regarding the teacher’s future employment including the timing and basis of future evaluations and observations by her principal.

SEXUAL HARASSMENT: PUBLIC SCHOOL TEACHER

Dismissal of all 14 counts.

FAILURE TO PAY: NATIONAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE

A six figure settlement.

HANDICAP & SEXUAL PREFERENCE DISCRIMINATION: CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Negotiating a six figure settlement.

FAILURE TO PAY: CONTRACT CONSULTANT

Settlement during trial including contract damages and legal fees.
