Christopher R. Rock

Christopher Rock is a partner in the firm’s Business and Finance practice area and focuses his practice in public finance. He has served as bond counsel, borrower’s counsel, purchaser’s counsel, issuer’s counsel, and underwriter’s counsel in connection with numerous tax-exempt, tax credit and taxable financings.

Chris routinely serves as counsel for a variety of revenue and general obligation bonds issued for 501(c)(3) nonprofit institutions, manufactures, affordable housing organizations, solid waste disposal companies, and state and local government entities. He has substantial experience with complex financing transactions involving leveraged tax credit structures, public and private placements, multimodal issuances, and hedging transactions.

Chris earned his Juris Doctor and his Master of Business Administration at the University of Dayton. Chris has been admitted to practice in The Commonwealth of Massachusetts since 2007. He is headquartered in the firm’s Boston office.
