Biography
Ben Lajoie’s civil litigation practice includes a diverse range of clients faced with high-stakes disputes, including multidistrict litigation, class action litigation, and business litigation. He is often called upon when complex, multi-party litigation is involved to vigorously protect and pursue the interests of his clients. For example, he has helped lead multidistrict litigation involving medical device product liability on behalf of nationwide consumers, represented companies in competitor suits from unfair and deceptive trade practice claims, represented parties to complicated UCC contract disputes, and represented a class of beneficiaries for breach of fiduciary duty against the institutional trustee.
Ben also provides a broad range of legal services as outside counsel to emerging businesses primarily in the life sciences and technology industries. Ben is an active member of the Boston Bar Association and serves on one of the Section's Steering Committees.
