Biography
As an experienced business attorney, I try to bring my clients sound practical and legal advice. Over the last thirty years, my full-service law firm and I have assisted thousands of individuals and companies in meeting their personal and professional goals, be it business consulting, negotiating or litigating.
In addition to advising businesses on partnership and corporate law issues, I have significant legal and business expertise in real estate, construction and employment law. I also have considerable experience handling business divorces and stockholder litigation. I have further been a Director, Trustee, and Corporator of several Boston-area banks, and that experience has helped me in several of my practice areas, including workouts and lending, and in the defense of lender's liability claims.
I believe it is important to stay abreast of the ever-changing business climate through active participation in business and industry groups. I am a frequent writer and speaker on a variety of legal topics and have received the highest rating attainable, "AV," by Martindale-Hubbell, the national directory of lawyers.
I also believe in giving back to the greater community where I live and work. I am personally involved and committed to serving several organizations such as the New England Anti-defamation League, The Governor's Academy, Jewish Rehabilitation Center for the Aged of the North Shore (AVIV Centers for Living), and have been elected or appointed to various volunteer positions for the Town of Swampscott and the Town of Marblehead.
