Carter S. Bacon Jr

Carter Bacon has represented both U.S. and foreign companies, investors, buyers, and sellers in transactions involving organizations in almost every business category, including technology companies, service companies, software companies, banks, trading companies, and manufacturers, retailers and distributors of industrial equipment, medical devices, food products, petroleum products, and consumer and office products.

Mr. Bacon devotes a substantial portion of his practice to work as counsel for several New England companies, including venture capital, manufacturing, technology and Internet, retail, and professional service firms. In addition to advising on day-to-day legal and business matters, he assists entrepreneurs with personal legal and financial planning, and serves as trustee for several family trusts.

Prior to opening his own office in 2009, Mr. Bacon was a partner of Nixon Peabody, LLP, which he joined following graduation from law school in 1979.
